Programs Tailor Made for All Needs
Introduction Programme
If you have never played an instrument before or maybe wished you had but think it is too late to learn, then think again. We can introduce you to music making through a combination of playing by ear and by methods such as tablature and (where relevant) chord diagrams. Musical notation can be introduced later. It's rather like learning to speak then learning to read.
Improvers Programme
You may be an experienced musician and wish to learn another instrument, or wish to improve on what you already know with some new ideas and techniques. Either way, we can help. The approach is flexible and you can book and pay as you go. Many typically will book an hour every 2 weeks or half hour every week.
Group Tuition and Workshops
We have run after school clubs such as guitar and ukulele and one off workshops such as Introduction to Mandolin at the Wallingford Bunkfest Festival and Traditional Acoustic Folk Jam at Cornerstone in Didcot. Please enquire about rates if you are interested in setting up group tuition or wish to have a workshop.
For small family groups of 2 or 3 persons learning the same intrument(s), it is possible to share a lesson at the standard hourly rate (currently £20 per hour per tutor).
